AMÉMÉ has recently unveiled his newest single, ‘Wild Animal,’ under Defected’s fresh label, One People. This release marks the artist’s initial independent offering since his 2023 hit, ‘Kaleta’.
‘Wild Animal’ melds a throbbing bassline with enchanting lyrics, crafting an irresistible fusion of Afro-tech and house music that beckons listeners straight to the dance floor.
AMÉMÉ’s contributions to the Afro-house genre have garnered acclaim and admiration from its key figures. His latest release under One People not only demonstrates the breadth of sounds within the genre but also encapsulates the essence of Africa in every beat.
Alongside his latest musical endeavor, AMÉMÉ has revived his renowned event series, One Tribe, this year. The series made its official return in London at fabric and has since secured a residency at Shelter in Amsterdam. Plans for future events include locations in Egypt in 12 April at Cubix El Gouna and Ibiza slated for April.
