Zurich-based creatives Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, widely known as Adriatique, have joined forces with Italian producer/DJ Undercatt for their latest release, the ‘Horizon’ EP, now available on X Recordings.
The EP’s title track, ‘Horizon,’ invites listeners on a captivating 6-minute voyage with its ethereal builds and swirling melodies. Its counterpart, ‘Vera,’ enriches the sonic journey with galactic deep-tech tones, adding layers of depth and intrigue to the overall release.
Adriatique has left an indelible mark on the electronic music landscape for over a decade. With releases on esteemed labels such as Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Diynamic, they have established themselves as trailblazing artists. Their remixes of tracks by Swedish House Mafia and Elderbrook have further cemented their reputation for innovation.
Undercatt brings his signature blend of melodic electronica and atmospheric techno to this collaboration. With a discography that includes releases on labels like Diynamic, Atlant, and Notturna, Undercatt has garnered acclaim within the industry. ‘Horizon’ serves as Undercatt’s debut on X Recordings, following his recent single ‘We Are Your Friends,’ which received accolades including Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune.
